CDC FY 2009 Funding
The House subcommittee bill includes $6.587 billion for CDC, providing a $156.2 million (2.4 percent) boost. The Senate committee provides $6.507 billion, a $76.8 million (1.2 percent) increase. Both bills maintain funding for public health research at the FY 2008 level of $31 million. More >>
