Holistic Review Project
The AAMC's Holistic Review Project is designed to develop resources that medical schools can use to create
and sustain medical student diversity. The project focuses on the
application and admissions process in the context of medical school
mission and goals and other institutional diversity initiatives.

This outreach campaign is designed to raise awareness of the critical
need for more diversity in medicine and to encourage well-prepared
African-American, Latino/a, and Native American students to apply
to and enroll in medical school.

Assessing Medical School Admissions Policies: Implications of the U.S. Supreme Court's Affirmative Action Decisions
This 2003 document was designed to help medical schools work with legal counsel to put into practice the U.S. Supreme Court decisions on race-conscious admissions policies.
