Dr. Joanne Conroy, executive vice president of Atlantic Health System and chief operating officer of Morristown Memorial Hospital, will be the association's new chief health care officer. (September 2, 2008)

New Hospital Quality Information Added to Hospital Compare Web Site
The AAMC and other members of the Hospital Quality Alliance have added new data on hospital mortality rates for pneumonia patients and pediatric asthma care to Hospital Compare. (August 20, 2008)

Congress Commended for Medicare Veto Override
