The Northeastern Group on Student Affairs (NEGSA) is one of four regions within the AAMC Group on Student Affairs (GSA). We are dedicated to fostering collaboration and excellence in student affairs where NEGSA serves as a vital resource for professionals who support medical students throughout their academic and professional journeys.
Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic and supportive network that enhances the field of student affairs by:
- Facilitating meaningful collaboration – Providing a platform for discussing key issues, sharing best practices, and addressing the evolving needs of student affairs professionals.
- Serving as a resource and advocate – Offering guidance, mentorship, and institutional support through professional networking and knowledge-sharing.
- Strengthening professional development – Promoting opportunities for growth, education, and leadership development among members.
- Enhancing regional engagement – NEGSA leadership and regional representatives to the GSA national committees ensure that the perspectives and needs of Northeast institutions are represented.
